Community

This picture is a peak into what many of our fall Hokie football game days looked like this season. Heath was next door inserting himself into our neighbor's tailgate parties. We are fortunate to live next door to some upstanding students who have a soft spot for Heath. Heath knows it as "Pat's house" and last year especially would point out their trucks parked. The guys have also had some great friends who are always willing to teach Heath how to play one of their backyard games and let him take a turn.
This particular weekend one of the roommates who graduated this spring, Joe, returned to the house for the party! Heath was pretty excited to see Joe (and his truck) again!

For Halloween this year Heath was the Steeler's tight end, Heath Miller and handed out Heath bars in some reverse trick or treating that we did to our neighbors' houses and gave them some candy.

We just had a play date yesterday at our house inviting the neighborhood kids to come over. We try and do this once a month- what started as the babies guild, is now more of the growing toddler crew. We are all first time parents and it has been really great to share in that experience together.

We have been blessed to share in rich community with an awesome neighborhood community!
