Christmas in California

We spent 10 days in California with the Henkelmann side of the family. Most of those days including Christmas Eve through New Years (and J's birthday) were up at the family cabin in Lake Shasta, CA. Here are a few photos of the sites!
All 12 of us in the 900 square foot cabin. The tree was a real treat "borrowed" from the Fresno tree lot on Christmas Eve. Ask us about it, Jonathan has great stories to tell about joining this family!

We had snow for a white Christmas, including our pet deer up there. The fires on the deck were a morning and evening favorite.

In a small cabin there aren't many places to hide and catch a nap. We did our best.

Of course seeing our 9 month old niece Rebeka was a big highlight of the trip. She is so close to walking on her own!

A view of Lake Shasta after snow had melted. We had some great sunshine days!
