California Trip

So our visit to Cali was fabulous. First off...the Lakers won! Let me tell you it is much better to be a fan in their home state then trying to cheer from afar and people thinking you are 'jumping on the band wagon.' I've been a Laker fan since birth- much in the way that Jonathan was born into his Steeler fanhood. So after going up in the series 3-1 we got to watch game 5 and the win in Fresno at a place called World Sports Cafe. Lots of Kobe jerseys and excitement, I wore mine the next day when we discovered my parents had my things in their garage!

And the other big excitement of visiting California, our niece Rebeka Henkelmann. She was cute as can be, only took to us rather slowly, after all 6 months was a long time ago since we last visited. Our new Flip video did come in handy and we were able to capture some of the smiles and words. Uncle J was hard to say but she did have Ninny down pretty well :)
