Let it snow, Let it snow, and again

This weekend has brought the 5th snow storm to Arkansas for this winter. Thursday and Friday were absolutely beautiful spring days this past week. People were wearing shorts and flip flops as the temperature peaked 70 and spring break was being welcomed this week. A quick turnaround from Friday to Saturday came as this winter front approached. At 3pm we settled in at home after picking up groceries and running errands. Shortly after the hail came and then it started to snow.
After starting the Baylor game at 5pm a thin layer had pretty well covered everything and we thought we better take a picture while it is still light outside. "Not sure if it will be there in the morning"

The snowflakes continued to pick up momentum and size. This captures some of them pretty well, but they were amazing to watch. It looked like cotton balls falling. (It was a lot to take in at once from sitting on the couch watching the Baylor game on the laptop, the Kansas upset on the tv and this outside the window!)

SUNDAY MORNING:
Guess we didn't have to worry about not having anything to take a picture of in the morning. The snow continues to come down even now and is predicted to continue this afternoon.
Judging from our tabletop I would estimate that we are close to 1 foot of snow. If you compare this picture with our post from February's snow where it was 8 inches, this looks massive.
With our back gate being closed and the snow piled pretty high up there, it is a good thing we don't have anywhere to be but warm inside our home! Church and kickball were both cancelled for today.
