So Heath turned 5 months old this past Wednesday. We had his check up a few days before that and the little man is measuring in at 26" long and 17.73 lbs. He is on track with all the developmental markers as he is nearly sitting up on his own, rolling over from belly to back, and talking up a storm with all kinds of new sounds. During the day at school he eats every 3 hours and will take two or three power naps ranging from 15 minutes to 30 minutes (sometimes he will sneak in an hour, but that is still rare). At home he takes advantage of having access to the source and prefers to eat more like every 1-2 hours before he gets to bed around 9-10pm.
Our pediatrician recommended we start trying out some foods with Heath, beginning with rice cereal. So this weekend we tried- with my parents watching on skype. It was pretty funny. Here are a few still shots of the moments.
