Heath got this awesome wagon for his 1st birthday from his great aunt's and great uncle's families. This was the inaugural, out of the yard trip.
We arrived at the market close to 8:30am and there were very few people there. We thought it was odd that the aisles weren't packed, but the farmers at their tents were pleasant as we did a pass through. Everyone commented of course on how the wagon was the best way to experience the market.
Cherry Almond Coffee Cake, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffin, Cinnamon Roll
No high chair inside, but Heath didn't mind of course.
Also no changing table, but the wagon was our utility player for the day.
Not only was the owner sweet, their coffee and baked goods were delicious! We will definitely be returning. So by 9:30am we start to see a bit more people traffic walking around outside. We make another pass through the market to pick up some peaches (for a blueberry and peach cobbler) and the place had exploded with families, retired folk, strollers and music. Apparently 10am is when Blacksburg likes to wake up. No wonder the market didn't open before 8am. Heath played in the grass area for a bit and listened to the musician playing and watched the kids running around.
Heath started to get tired so we thought we better head home, that and it started to sprinkle. He was too tired to sit in the wagon, he wanted to be held. So after I got my 22 lb arm workout the first half back, dad took over here. Going...
Going.....
Gone!
