My work commitments in August are at full steam with new students arriving and our orientation responsibilities to ensure they transition well. We were so blessed to have J's parents with us for a week to ensure the house stood, we were all fed, and Heath was well loved. While J took his written exams, Heath and I flew to California for my cousin Eli's wedding. Here is a quick camera roll of what we've been up to in the last 30 days!

My travel guy- 17 hours there and only 14 on the return home- such a trooper! |

Me and my cousin Eli, the groom! Day-after wedding brunch. |

Eli and Cecilia's Wedding in Santa Barbara, beautiful location right across from the Pacific hosted by the Four Seasons who milked and dined Heath-the only kid- with all kinds of treats, Oma & Heath |
|
Church of God Softball Tournament in Modesto, CA where we got to spend time with Great Oma, Uncle Dietmar and Aunt Dania. Heath is in the neon green shirt on stage with Opa singing Amazing Grace with the men and on the field after the Championship win with the trophy tshirts! |

Heath REALLY enjoyed playing with his older cousin Beka (top photos) including lots of wrestling hugs. He also enjoyed his friend Violet at the ballfield and playing at restaurants we went to.
