Reese at 6 months

This past week was an exciting milestone in our household- Reese Jean turned 6 months old! To celebrate, a few new changes were implemented!

First up- a taste of some 'solid' food, rice cereal made with mama's milk. Here is a 3 minute video of the experience, not to be over-shadowed by her eager (not at all camera shy) big brother Heath! She was pretty impressive for a first timer.

Next Up- Reese began sleeping in her room (not mom and dad's), sharing the bottom trundle of Heath's captain bed. She has gone to sleep in that room every night since, though after her first stretch, usually lasting til ~11:30pm, she winds up with some combo of mom nursing/falling asleep in the trundle or coming back to mom and dad's bed. Baby steps for all of us.
Terribly fuzzy picture taken in the dark of these two sleeping together in their room for the first time- Reese with a teddy bear.

Finally, to accommodate the growing girl's eating habits, furniture was rearranged and Heath was promoted into a big boy chair, delegating his booster seat to sis who joined us in her own spot at the family table tonight.
