Since our June 7th anniversary was sandwiched between two vacations to visit our families on either coastline, we delayed our trip to celebrate until August- right before life got insane. Jonathan had been planning our trip for a year- or at least a particular idea for it. The week we left he told me we were going to Kansas City, MO which is about four hours north of us. He booked an excellent steal of a deal on priceline and put us up at the four-star Westin Crown Center Hotel. We had a fabulous view from the 16th floor!

Jonathan's surprise for me for the weekend was a trip to the Hallmark Visitor's Center! If you know me at all you know how I LOVE Hallmark- it is my happy place! So to walk through the history of the company and watch their commercials and production process was awesome. We had a fabulous relaxing weekend.
