Great Balls of Fire!

No we have not just finished watching Top Gun- we just got home from playing a double header on our newly formed kickball team "Great Balls of Fire." Northwest Arkansas decided we needed an adult kickball league- and we agree! At first we weren't sure that the team fee of $300 was going to be worth the season, so we didn't sign up. But after round one of games a team backed out and our team was able to slide in and pick up their slot. Jonathan and I are playing with a group of co-workers from the University. After our intense two hour practice yesterday that included kicking, catching and throwing- we stepped up to the plate this afternoon and happily won our first game 6-3. Jonathan pitched the whole game and was stellar covering those bunts. I mostly played second base then switched up to left field and game two played third base. Game 2 we had a tougher competition and didn't walk away with the W but I think everyone is still in good spirits. We have six more weeks of play.
The Team, mind you we just finished two games in the rain/drizzle.
