I heart Saturdays in Fayetteville

This morning we took a trip the farmer's market on our downtown square in Fayetteville. After stopping by our favorite bakery for a chocolate croissant and pecan roll, we walked around the square and picked up a few things. A bushel of cilantro $1, green chili peppers $2, tomatoes $3, and a flower bouquet $5.
On top of those joys- supporting local farmers- it is game day! The Razorbacks are playing the Georgia bulldogs in the first Fayetteville home game of the season. So there is red all over town! Cars have their flags and magnets on- tailgaters are filling campus since 9am this morning with games like cornhole, washers and a new rope and ball thing I saw for the first time. We are working the student section so if you watch it on tv we will be in white polos and standing alongside the student area in case anything arises. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
