A couple weekends ago there was a yard sale happening in front of the Y Thrift Store. Kind of odd I thought, but it was the local Rotary chapter raising funds. So we thought it made for a great Saturday to hit up both the inside and outside of the store (still searching for a desk chair). Well amidst a lot of other people's hidden treasures (ie- complete and total crap to me) there was this Little Tikes outdoor slide. Heath has played on one at church and school and park playgrounds- he loves this slide. Maybe the climbing more than the sliding.
So after one of the Rotarians tried to sell us on a $50 couch that smelled like dog and smoke, I thought, what's this actual gem going to cost me? One Whole Dollar. Seriously? Seriously. Thank you very much I am happy to contribute towards your efforts. On my way to the car with it they tried to get me to take the Little Tikes red and yellow Flinstone-like car that Heath also loves for an extra 50 cents. I had to decline. One amazing deal was enough to fit in our trunk for that day. Besides if we have it at home, then the thrill of riding in the one attached to the grocery cart at Kroger's is lost.
So since the video upload is beyond slow tonight and then not working at all- these progression photos of Heath with the slide will have to suffice! Enjoy... he sure is.
